264-1058 style 101 trough end for 18″ screw conveyor without bearing is a high-strength steel trough end that is generally fitted with a Babbitted transmission flange bearing that can be purchased separately. However, other bearing materials can be supplied upon request. The trough end is also commonly referred to as an endplate and is responsible for supporting the screw, bearing, and shaft seal this creates a tremendous amount of force on the trough end which is what it is important to use specific grades of heavy-gauge steel. With style, 101 trough ends are designed in a way that allows for support of the conveyor cover, as well as support for the conveyor itself from the bottom flange.
